Building a better future by caring today

Located at 2703 B Kilpatrick Avenue

Open Monday thru Saturday 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.    Closed Sundays and Holidays

St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store first opened its doors in 1997. Our purpose has always been to serve those in need in our community. In February 2010 we changed our name to Our Lady Thrift Store to continue to serve the Comox Valley community. Staffed only with volunteers, we provide a clean, organized and friendly environment in which to shop. We collaborate with the local SSVP Conference at Christ the King parish, in providing goods free to those with a need or in crisis. Our Lady Thrift Store volunteers come with all sorts of abilities and gifts to offer. Together with the various supported community volunteer groups, seniors, and youth, we work to meet the needs of those less fortunate. We are grateful for the support and patronage of the community. Their generosity is heart-warming and a vital part of our continued success. We look forward to being a viable and valuable service to the people of the Comox Valley by supporting the works of the Christ the King St Vincent de Paul Conference.   Thank you for your support!

And opening his mouth he taught them saying: Blessed are the poor in spirit; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are the meek; for they shall possess the land. Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted. Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice; for they shall have their fill. Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the clean of heart; for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers; for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they shall revile you and persecute you and speak all that is evil against you, untruly for my sake: be glad and rejoice, for your reward is very great in heaven.   Matthew c 5 v 2-11
